ArtWalk: August 11 • 5-8pm • 309 Middle St.

Art Walk is a great time to visit CAGS, where you can chat with local artists and find unique textiles, paintings, woodwork, jewelry and pottery. The August Art Walk is on Friday the 11th, and, as usual CAGS serves complimentary refreshments and this month, vocalist, Alisa Mike will be entertaining the crowds.  

CAGS features different artists in their side window every month. August’s artists are painters, Ginger Wernersbach, Nicole Pierre and Linda Sura. Wernersbach’s  favorite medium is oil and she is active member in the local Coastal Carolina Plein Air Painters. Pierre enjoys a variety of mediums and takes commissions for portraits and pets. Sura weaves baskets from various materials and is a nationally known teacher, published in 4 basket books. The emerging artist for July-September is Christopher Richter, a photographer from Vermont who enjoys working with customers to capture their special occasions.
