Open Choir in New Bern

This is New Bern’s version of what the Gaia collective in New York is already doing.
It’s one day, no auditions, no experience necessary, singing with strangers in a beautiful harmonious way.
Singing together builds community, it builds character.
Are you nervous to sing along? We got you. After everyone meets, we’ll have some vocal warmups.
We’ll go through each section of the song. Everyone will have a copy of the music and lyrics
– Plus you know the song already
We will email all registered attendees a copy of the music and lyrics beforehand – so feel free to get some practice in the car, shower, or anywhere!
Why the need to register?
A few things. One, this is the frist time organizing this sort of an event. We’d like to get an idea of how many people are going to attend. Secondly, we want to have some water and possibly refreshments available.
Thirdly – the venue can hold up to 200 people standing – while we don’t expect to reach that limit the first time around – we certainly don’t want to accidentally go over that limit!
