Atlantic Dance Theatre presents La Belle Danse, a captivating performance of Baroque Dance and Music. Baroque dancer Paige Whitley-Bauguess is joined by Barry Bauguess on baroque trumpet, Brent Wissick on viola da gamba and cello, and John B. O’Brien on organ and harpsichord. Masked and unmasked, serious and comic characters perform dances to music by Lully, Schmelzer, and Marais. The musicians have selected dance-inspired musical works to showcase their extraordinary instruments and talents.
