Maggy first entered the lives of her pet-parents when Bob ventured out to the animal shelter to find a kitten for their granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Emily.
When he starting looking over the animals, he saw a little basset and beagle mix puppy, only 5 weeks old, that was positively “all ears.”
He left with the kitten, but couldn’t get the puppy out of his mind. So he went back, brought her home, and decided to call her Maggy.
She was an adorable puppy, and she happily joined the other animals in the house—and there were quite a few—three cats and two dogs. Even though she was the youngest and the smallest, she decided immediately that she was in charge of them all.
Maggy has had some health challenges, now that she is 12 years old, but by the grace of God her doctors have given her amazing care and her family feels very blessed that they have such a sweet girl to share their lives.
